Established in May 2021, our company is dedicated to provide solutions to the challenges in the menstrual landscape of Kenya and Africa. We strive to fill the existing market gap by offering high-quality, affordable, and easily accessible menstrual products. At Binti, we believe in empowering both women & men through creativity & innovation, also combining our innovative products and services, we aim to uplift women and improve their menstrual health and well-being.

The Problem
Women in Kenya: Kenya has about 25million women, out of this 14.5m are of the reproductive age (15-54). Out of the data set 65% of the women cannot afford access safe menstrual products. This translates to approximately 9.4 million women.
Market Opportunity
Over 65% of women in Kenya face significant challenges in obtaining essential menstrual hygiene products, creating a substantial untapped market for affordable and accessible solutions.
Education Opportunity
Approximately one million school-age girls in Kenya miss an average of four school days each month due to their menstrual cycle and lack of access to proper hygiene products. By addressing this issue, we can significantly educational outcomes and empower young girls to reach their full potential.
Existing Gap
A staggering 42% of Kenyan schoolgirls have never had access to sanitary pads and resort to using inadequate alternatives like rags, blankets, mattress scraps, tissue paper, and cotton wool. There is a pressing need for affordable and appropriate menstrual products that can bridge this gap and provide sustainable solutions.
